So, one of my neighbors (who is a real mean, nasty girl, BTW) apparently threatens to commit suicide, and hints that she's already taken a number of pills.

Her roommate panics, and calls 911.

3 police cars, a fire truck and an ambulance all arrive, at which point I began spectating, what with all the commotion and all.

The mean girl gets hauled away on a gurney, looking VERY pissed off.

The roommate gets put in handcuffs and taken away in one of the police cars, because she had some unpaid parking tickets.

My Saturday is off to an interesting start!

2. I have to confess, I was giggling at the spectacle, once the BF told us

what was going on.

He got a phone call from the mean girl (the one he's dating, and it seems to me that he deserves better) this morning threatening to kill herself.

He came rushing over, but by that time the roommate had already called 911, so he just stood back as the thing unfolded.

After the mean girl and the roommate were both hauled away into different forms of custody, he came over and told us what was going on.
