They need to get out and do some real campaigning and issue research and stop bleating on the web....

There are several people over there that are intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced in politics and with issues...

So I just don't get the large chunk that just don't get it...

Oh well, an open forum brings in a whole mess of folks...

1. I just had a run-in with a GIANT asshole in GD the other day.

Kept calling me a "Conservative Apologist," "Stupid" and "A Freeper," and telling me to "shut up." All because I asked for evidence of something fishy-sounding that he'd asserted as fact, and kept asking after the evidence when he kept trying to dodge the question. He eventually provided "evidence" in the form of a Google search and a Wiki link that didn't even address the content of what he'd said. :eyes:

The GDs have been almost completely worthless for political discussion since the '04 primaries. That so many GD habitues look down on the Lounge as frivolous is DUs great comic irony.

The most glaring example in the Lounge is the "in group", "Out group" defining which leads to many negative comments about GD.

I'm afraid WC's point is lost on this tendency.
