she's really pretty well cut up. Missing chunks of her lip, chin, face. Her leg had more than 1 pound of puss removed from it.

That said, she spend a whole lot of time getting hugs and kisses in a, uh, safe house.

She'll never suffer again. Can't say the same for her previous owner.

Cows are by nature vegan. Cows' milk is not when fed to humans, but just as human milk is perfectly vegan and the ideal food for human babies, cows' milk is ideal and perfectly vegan for calves.

The frightening thing is that in modern industrial farming, they're fed all sorts of nasty animal products including the blood of slaughtered cows, chicken litter, fish meal, and rendered slaughterhouse including waste roadkill and euthanized pets. Needless to say, this has some pretty awful health effects and spreads diseases that later infect humans who consume cows' milk and flesh. Edit: Nobody feeds the boy in that picture anything nasty like that though. He's very well cared for.
