Sunrise, morning after Green Corn ceremony
I recently digitized an old VHS tape recording I made of the sunrise the morning after the Green Corn ceremony about 15 years ago. I was shooting from a tripod on the western side of the sacred circle when suddenly a shaft of light from the rising sun pierced through the Nation's hoop.

It looked much better on tape. You can hardly even see the corn on the ground in this still capture. Guess ya had to be there!

Kind of a mystical moment.
