Well, I'm back, and I'm sick... |
|
I apparently have the flu. :( And my husband has it too. However, it meant that we got out of going to the Wedding from Hell yesterday, although that's not why we got sick. It was all I could do to drive back on Friday from the professional conference I attended, and I spent most of the day in bed yesterday (and not for good reasons, either :P). I still feel like hell today. My temp's been going from 98.2 to 101.9 for the past day, and I'm achy and stuffed up.
The flu may also get me out of this stupid business trip I was being forced into next week. :P I guess things happen for a reason...

1. That's pretty bad, when you are glad to get the flu.. |
|
...well, not glad, but you know what I mean. So, the wedding was going to be that bad, huh?

My husband's niece was a true Bridezilla. Everyone in the family was praying for it to be over with. My father-in-law called this morning and said to my husband, "You're lucky you were sick." :yoiks:

|
:P
Anyway, I hope you feel better. I'm off to go pick up some lesbians from the train station and pick some apples now.

6. I know. But we know the truth. |
|
:P And Bridezilla will probably never let us forget it. But that's OK---we don't see her often as it is.
Have fun with your apple-pickin' lesbian friends... :hi:

16. Good thing my wife just got her flu shot, but still... |
|
Sorry you're having to deal with that. Me, I'm unfortunate enough to get stomach flu. It lasts only 48 hours, but those 48 hours are sheer hell on me. The first time I got it (10 years ago), I could feel every internal organ in my body, and I thought I was going to die.
Hang in there - hopefully you and your hubby can get some chicken soup in your system.

19. Well, I'm not happy to hear you're sick. |
|
Even with the perks of missing the Wedding from Hell, etc. I don't like it when friends are under the weather.
Feel better soon, darlin'!! :loveya:
