There's a new man in my life ;)
Meet Bandit. He's a permanent resident in the barn on my property. I don't own him and am deathly allergic to horses, but we spend time outside in the pasture. He likes apples, green grass and spending afternoons in the sun. ;)

3. Wow! Great pictures and beautiful horse LizzieGrace
Besides his great white coat and beautiful face, the other feature I like about him are his big eyes.

6. Thanks!
He's finally settled in. He spent the first few days in a lather over the new surroundings. He spent hours testing the fence, so now it's electrified.

He's only about 5 and "speaks" to me whenever I come outside. (The pasture's across the driveway.)

It's beautiful here today. Cool and clear with an empty blue sky. (Thank you Neil Young for the imagery)

7. I had given him an apple
he wanted more. :)

He's a bit of a rowdy boy, but overall a calm spirit. I wish I could spend more time with him without risking a trip to the ER. :(

10. He's beautiful! And old fellow? I love him.
I want to hug him an pet him and squeeze him and call him silly names.

I am quite fond of horses . . . this is Sabre on the left, and Kimmy on the right

Sweet animals are a tonic in hard times, aren't they, Lizzie?

BTW, that second chin is shrinking, and that bracelet is growing.

I love horses too. I'm so allergic that Lelapin had to call the squad one time. My lips and nails were turning blue. :(

Congrats on the shrinking self!

17. You want to ride a horse?
Now there's a way to find muscles you didn't know you had. Besides, I don't think you should drink and ride. ;)

13. Just
how much of a man is he? ;)

(he's a gelding, I take it...)

And if not...wow, you got a stud!

He's beautiful. I'm sorry you're so allergic to horses...I'd rather be dead than not be able to be near those magnificent creatures.

I like the last pic - he has a lovely head. Lots of space between the eyes is thought to be a sign of intelligence. He sure looks very inquisitive. :hi:

14. Not much
he's a gelding.

But, regardless of his "status", he and my cat Widget are the only two men guaranteed not to ever break my heart.

I wonder if that works for humans too. I always thought Dubya's eyes were too close together...

One of my favorite types of paints. And paints are my favorite next to Appaloosas. I grew up on a farm and we raised App's.

27. He's gorgeous!
I love horses. They have such definative personalities. We had horses growing up. Actually, the first horse we had was insane. He thought he was a dog. Used to jump on my dad's shoulders, knock him down and lick his face. And if you walked into the pasture holding a Coors beer you would either have to give it to him or he would bug you until you either left or gave it to him. And Dad used to give him rum and coke occasionally too and he was all over that. So we had an insane alcoholic horse who thought he was a dog. Just figures. We had a pig who thought he was a cat too, but that's another story.

29. I don't know about amazing...
But when it came to the animals we had, yes. We always had really weird, fun animals. Dad bought the pig off a friend of his. He failed to warn me about how friendly the pig was. I was wandering through the field one day, and the pig chased me up a tree. Scared the shit out of me. When he finally stalked off, his feelings hurt,I jumped out of the tree, and I made it back to the house, sprinting. I thought my dad was going to fall to the ground he was laughing so hard. He assured me the pig wouldn't hurt me, and I made friends with him.
