Sushi lovers check-in - what's your favorite? |
|
Since we have an anti-sushi poll, I figured we sushi lovers need our own thread to express the joy and wonders of Sushi! For me, my personal favorite will always have to be the Toro. But I also love the Spicy Tuna rolls too. I'll eat just about anything in Sushi as long as there isn't avocado in it (I just can't figure that out).
So post here and talk about your love of all things Sushi!

The other day I had a fantastic 'concoction' of lobster tail, eel, and lots of other stuff. It was out of this world.

I like the veggie California rolls, the avocado rolls, and this place near me makes these tempura vegetable rolls that are totally great.

Being allergic to salmon and tuna, I'm kind of out of luck there but I love unagi. And anything with veggies in it (including avocado ;) ).

Kyoto in Scottsdale is my absolute favorite place and very inexpensive.
Saturday's meal for the two of us was $25 WITH saki for both AND the valet parking.
I'm not kidding.

21. Vegan here. So it's Avacado rolls |
|
or the Pickled radish rolls, or the Fermented Plum rolls. One of the great things about living in a large city is that there are lots of Japanese restaurants with a decent selection of veggie food.

but my favorite fish for sashimi or nigiri is toro, escolar, and fatty salmon.
i love spicy tuna rolls and rainbow rolls and occasionally a dragon roll for dessert. If i am eating with someone who has never had sushi before, i get a phoenix roll sometimes.
