Oh, by the way-I figured out 'Lost' (with polar bear explanation) |

Gee sorry I forgot to mention this until now.
Now why wouldn't they leave that island if they could? How could a polar bear STILL ;-) be alive on an island in the middle of the South Pacific? Why can't any of the kids stay around or be seen? Has the baby actually grown in the 60+ days they have been there? How come Locke could suddenly walk and everyone is healed?
It's because the Island has a "fountain of youth" on it. Probably in the form of magnets or magnetization but that is your explanation.
The bear was the last one and it is still alive even after the climate change melts all the ice. The kids have to be taken away (this doesn't account for the actor playing Walt maturing) so people don't see that there is no change or at least they have to be allowed to mature before getting stuck in this purgatory ;-) of agelessness.
The Others are just checking out WHO they want to invite in. They are also so very good at it because they have the wisdom of the ages and they have outside contacts as there is no protection without information of what might be coming. Airplanes don't usually fly over the island (they have it set up that way) but Oceania 815 was just a goof an error outside the realm of possibility.
The numbers? they add up to 108 which adds to 9 with means it is a transposition-basically it screws up any figuring of ones age.
Okay now about Bigfoot....

What about Alex/Rousseau? Alex has been on the Island her entire life and has grown, aged, etc.
Also -- what about Adam and Eve (the two skeletons with the black and white stones)? Jack said that they had died of natural causes.
You definitely might be on the right track...I'm just saying is all...
(Btw -- did you ever see the notation on the blast door map that reads: "STATED GOAL, REPATRIATION ACCELERATED DETERRITORIALIZATION OF URSUS MARITIMUS (Latin for "polar bear") THROUGH GENE THERAPY AND EXTREME CLIMATE CHANGE"? As far as I'm concerned, this explains the presence of the bears.)

How do we know that Alex has aged? She could have been that age when she got there the boat certainly doesn't look like it is from the recent past now does it?

4. Well, Rousseau said that she was 8 months pregnant when |
|
They crashed, and then she said that the Others came and took Alex when she was one week old.
The girl who saved Claire/was talking to Kate, etc. was definitely older than one week. I mean, she was walking! And talking!
Granted, the Others could have taken her away at some point, but...
