3. No kidding. There's one major one that EVERYBODY here uses.

4. The Cub brand and Albertsons brand ...

of shredded wheat, frosted shredded wheat, maple & brown sugar shredded wheat, and vanilla cream shredded wheat are WAY better than either Post or Kellogg's.

5. There is usually no repackaging going on

The grocery store buys products from a food manufacturer, that are either just like an existing product which may be name brand or one according to their specifications. The manufacturer does the packaging.
The store chain gets it at a discount because they buy it directly from the food manufacturer rather than a distributor.

6. Archer Farms brand from Target.

YUMMY STUFF. Especially their thick cut bacon, and their dark chocolate covered vanilla ice cream popsicles, whatever you call them.

7. The most depressed moment in my life was at a Sav-a-Lot.

First I saw Spam.

Then I saw generic spam.

At the checkout counter, in a cardboard box, I saw dented cans of generic spam for 10 cents each.

It made me feel incredibly sad for no specific reason.
