Can this possibly be true..
I was told today that you can't get Cheez Whiz in the States. It seems like such an American food.

8. A colleague couriered some to a friend in the US
because she couldn't get it where she lived. He was complaining because it was stuck in customs. I can't imagine going through such a hassle to get Cheez Whiz. Yikes.

much trouble to get that stuff?

7. I hope we get it here
In my early teens, I spent many a Sundays at "church" smoking weed and eating Cheese Wiz and crackers in the woods behind the church. What else could it have been?

11. I didn't know you could get it anywhere ELSE!
It's not my thing.

Speaking of cheese-type things, though, I have a question about Easy-Cheese (the kind that you squeeze out of a can). Did it used to be called something else, 20 or so years ago? I seem to remember calling it by a different name.

I didn't know what the hell people meant by Easy Cheese.

We used to take it one camping trips.

20. Look what I found on Wikipedia!
Reassured by you that my remembering a different name wasn't crazy, I tried Googling.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easy_Cheese

"When what is now known as Easy Cheese was first released on the market in 1966, Nabisco called it Snack Mate. It was renamed Easy Cheese when Kraft and Nabisco merged in 1988."

It's a good job MacGyver isn't real. There's no way THAT dude would ever be let on a plane. Or he would have to board it naked - and even then you'd have to watch him.
