Anybody know French songs?
I had Intermediate French in college a few years ago and my professor used to make us sing every week. For some incredibly odd and annoying reason, I've had two songs from the class stuck in my head and I can't find the papers with the lyrics to get it out of my head. I think that might help.

Anyway, does anybody know "Aux Champs Elysees" or "A La Claire Fontane"? I'm pretty sure that both titles are right. Am I crazy or does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Merci beaucoup!!!

13. Here's the rest:

Je me réveillerai, tu verras, tu verras

Tu me verras, chérie, allumer des clartés

Ah, tu verras, tu verras

:D

32. Encore un Verre
The guy singing this is supposed to be drunk, therefore the bad French

"Carpe Diem"
"Un homme averti en vaut deux"

39. When I was a kid, we LOVED Alouetta
My brother and sister and I had a record that played all the verses, and as the song went on, it would increase in tempo. What we would do is run around living room table...as it got faster and faster, we would run faster and faster...and it usually ended with one of us hurt, or falling and laughing like jackals.

Memories....

41. We learned and sang the "Champs Elysees" song in my ...
intermediate French class. I didn't care for it, but it became the class favorite. They loved the "kazoo" part. Most of them were chuckleheads who were more interested in singing than learning grammar.

I introduced "La Marseillaise" to the class, and it didn't go over well (except with the teacher, a Frenchwoman). I guess I was the odd one out.
