9. Awww

Thanks. This is what I looked like then.

I was a band freak.

You've got to scan your senior picture when you got to your sister's house for Thanksgiving. :)

11. I would've asked you, too.
Of course, I wasn't born at the time, AFAIK, but once the time-space continuum was rearranged, I'd totally go for it!

;)

8. Yeah, we genderfucked the prom.
A lesbian in a tux and a trannyboy. My HS was very liberal though, so it wasn't a big deal.

14. My prom date was HOT!
Unlike hers. :)

She was this Asian girl with a body that wouldn't quit, even if she wasn't a size zero and obsessed with being physically "perfect." And man, was this girl smart. I mean SCARY smart. I mean "the major export of Uzbekistan is..." smart, except Uzbekistan wasn't even a country then.

I wish I had a digitized picture to show y'all.

And as far as extra points are concerned? She probably WOULD still be with me if I wasn't such a gigantic, legendary asshole. Oh well, she's probably married to a rich lawyer by now, instead of to a poor schoolteacher. And even if she is married to a poor schoolteacher, she's probably happier than she would be if she'd married me.

22. We didn't have a "prom" (or at least we didn't call them that in Canada)
Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 01:51 AM by Evoman
For my graduation...I didn't have a date...I was 6ft, weighed 145 and had big glasses lol. I never had dates in high school. Don't feel too sorry for me...I made up for it after I hit the gym and lost the glasses in college ;).

The funny thing is, I learned later that there actually had been some girls in my class who had the hots for me (and one of them was a semi-popular chick who dug skinny guys!!). DOH! I guess you can never assume your too unattractive for somebody. When oh when will they invent the time machine....

23. I didn't go to my prom...
I was always the geeky girl who hung out in the library, plus I was the New geeky girl who hung out in the library.

No one asked me.

Heh...I'm still the geeky girl, I just don't spend as much time in the library. I bring my books home, these days.

27 years (both in lower 40's).

Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 08:33 AM by NewWaveChick1981
I'm not going to post it, though. :P I'm gonna protect the identity of the not-so-innocent. It was May of 1981 (on my 18th birthday, to be exact), and let's just say we were both wearing light blue. Light blue tuxedos with ruffled shirts were in style then... :yoiks: (I didn't wear a tux, though---he did!) We broke up in early 1985.

And no, we are definitely not together any more, although I'd be very wealthy if we were.
