fundie website of the day!
http://www.momof9splace.com/

scroll down for links to her philosophy....

"First let me say that God didn't create man for you. Yep! you heard me right. God created you to be a help meet for man. You see ladies, I believe God saved the best for last....woman....created after everything else..Because man was incomplete...He had it all there in the garden. Every perfect thing and direct fellowship with God. But God saw that something was missing...He wanted Adam to have the best of everything, every desire met. So, to top off a perfect world He created woman FOR THE MAN.

Man needed someone to see how much he could lift and to say "My you are strong". But there was no one, Maybe he took a lap around the garden and there was no one to say.."Wow, you are the fastest runner I know!" God made woman to sit on the sidelines and cheer when a man succeeds. God made a woman to sit in the audience while her husband preaches and say. "That’s the best preacher in the world". That is why God made woman. He made her to be man's help meet. God made woman for man! The word "help meet" means "completer." Like finishing a circle...a completion. No, God didn't see a child needing care and say "I'm going to send somebody down to take care of that child". He didn't say "that baby needs a diaper change, I'll create someone to take care of that". Nor did He say "there's a dirty house, I'll send someone to clean". And as much as we would like to believe this He didn't say, "I'm going to send her down for man to love and protect". God didn't send you down to be helped; God sent you down to help"

1. What. Ever. God made this woman to think...
babies are dirty and men are well...kind of just there, but definitely good for drinking beer & watching football with.

And in the case of one guy...to break his ribs for being a chauvanistic asshole.

Once again, I'm apparantly a bad woman.

2. More of that "God created women to be servants" crap?
Pardon me while I :puke:.

Don't step in the banana and coffee now.

4. And what's wrong with being the slave
of a man with 50 fewer IQ points?

7. Well, if he truly has 50 fewer IQ points...
It might not be so bad. He'd be so easy to outwit I could steal all of his money and be gone before he knew what had happened. ;-)

3. Women should only be submissive
when consenting adults want to have a bit fun in their own homes. :)

Now, where is the smilie for whistling innocently.

5. GAH! Made to live on the sidelines
I hate this women-must-live-vicariously-thru-men stuff. I am a woman, I am married to a great man, but he understands that I have my own interests, my own opinions (which I express), my own goals and dreams, etc. Real men love women for who they are as people!

Woman was made to be Man's PARTNER, not his helpless little cheerleader.

All this Fundie bullshit makes me want to: :argh:

8. I couldn't imagine anything more boring
Than having a submissive, subservient mate. Partners are there to stimulate each other intellectually as well as in other ways. Sheesh!

6. Let's hope that with 9 kids
her husband helps his "helpmeet" with some of the chores. But why do I get the feeling that she started the site to, for lack of better words, make a virtue out of necessity. This sounds so much like the dating advice the teen magazines were running when I was in high school - you know the kind - don't show your boyfriend up by doing something better then he does, always look pretty for your boyfriend. Didn't like it then, don't like it now. I wish I could go take a shower because after visiting her site I feel sorely in the need for one.

9. What the...?
:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:
There are apparently no limits to delusional thinking, in the name of religion.
