1. Well, let's see...
I started my day with the melodic chippery of music from Dora the Explorer, followed by bad top-40's crap at the gym, ishy r&b in my friend's car, and an assortment of stuff, primarily Wilco, Dylan, and the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, whle trying to drown out the accoustics of my jet-engine ancient dishwasher, while I read some speeches.

7. Blah. That's not the kind of wake I want.
I want people to laugh at mine, have a beer, joke about the time I got out of the car during the car wash and got waxed, chuckle about the nightmare it was for me when locker cleaning day rolled around in junior high, snicker at the number of times I showed up at places on the wrong day...

Misery meets us at the door; we don't have to ask it in.

:-)

5. One of my students brought the new Evanescence CD.
It contains a track called 'Lacrymosa' which has the Lacrymosa from the Mozart Requiem in the background. The kids want to sing it now.

they're kind of a goth/grunge/classical fusion... of sorts. I can't recall any Christian slanted song they've done.
