I just got back from "All you can eat Sushi" - damn it was good |
|
I'm usually someone who avoids "All you can eat" places like the plague (except for breakfast). But this was Sushi that was made to order, not sitting under some lamp for 2 hours. There was three of us from our class including one Sushi Novice (the guy loved it) and I am absolutely STUFFED. It was all good and they'd even bring us out some stuff we didn't ask for (We had a great eggplant teriyaki and I'm not an eggplant fan).
So I'm all sushi'd up!

12 piece chef's choice and 6 California rolls. And I ate all my ginger and all but a spot of wasabi. Mmmmmm.

3. I can't get into ginger |

I mean, not the stuff they server with the Wasabi - doesn't do anything for me.

Was it worth it? My wife is really looking forward to it. I surprised her by making the reservation.

The music was a bit loud and I felt kinda weird sitting at this booth that could have held like 6 people on each side (there were 3 of us). But the overall decor was very modern
However, the food was absolutely amazing. If you're ordering sushi, it seems a bit pricy at first but the size of the pieces you get are much larger than normal. Most sushi I can fit the whole piece in my mouth but most of these took a couple of bites to complete. I recalled that we had the Toro, Hamachi, Ugani, Spicy Tuna and a fifth item I can't recall - but I do know it was all good.
We also had entrees and I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was divine!

Sounds like a "cause of death" category on a Coroner's report.
