I wrote the most profound, moving love letter of all time
...about a month ago. I just re-read it, and it's amazing.

Today, I'm so resentful toward the same person, I could spit.

Life's funny. Not so much ha-ha funny. :)

2. Save it.
With the hope that the same sentiments will apply again, someday, toward someone else.

5. Nope. Just that the same sentiments will be possible to express later.
On second thought, maybe it's best to detroy it, but keep the feelings accessible.

But my first attempt was pretty poor. :-)

11. The fates gave you a lesson on change
Now is not what forever feels like. Keep it in mind when things get grim.

Oh, and remember to breathe well. Amazing how tension and stress can interfere with a basic thing like that, but it often does. Remember to stop and take stock of where you are physically on a regular basis. Better breathing really will help your mental state.

18. Not much to speak of
Just confirmation she's been lying rather completely about "just needing to be alone" etc. :eyes:

She arrives back Thursday noonish. She has until Friday 5 p.m. to pay me back and get her stuff out of my shed. Then the gloves come off. She'll not be able to live in this town.

22. Laugh or cry, baby
I'll also be laughing Friday night as I toss her crap into the town's right-of-way in front of the house. Already cleared with the marshal and town staff... one deputy offered to do civil standby, because he recognized how much it would piss her off.

28. Damn skippy
I've worked for two years to get the local constabulary on my team. It's time to cash that check, so to speak. :)

At any rate, yes, I'm hanging in there. Out-and-out whore she is, she gets this small window to get the hell out of my life with some semblance of dignity. Then, God help her.

17. "Well they said if I wrote the perfect letter..."
I'll Sail This Ship Alone

Artist: The Beautiful South
Album: Best Of-Carry On Up The Charts

(Heaton/Rotheray)
If, if you choose that we will always lose
Well then I'll sail this ship alone
And if, if you decide to give him another try
Well then I'll sail this ship alone

Well they said if I wrote the perfect love song
You would take me back
Well I wrote it but I lost it
And now will you take me back anyway

Now if, if you insist that this is for the best
Well then I'll sail this ship alone
And if, if you swear that you no longer care
Well then I'll sail this ship alone

I'll sail this ship alone
Between the pain and the pleasure
I'll sail this ship alone
Amongst the sharks and the treasure
If you would rather go your way then go your way
I'll sail this ship alone

If, if you're afraid that I won't make the grade
Well then I'll sail this ship alone
And if, if you agree to him instead of me
Well then I'll sail this ship alone

Well they said if I wrote the perfect letter
That I would have a chance
Well I wrote it, and you burnt it
And now do I have a chance anyway

If, if you swear that you no longer care
Well then I'll sail this ship alone

I'll sail this ship alone
Between the pain and the pleasure
I'll sail this ship alone
Amongst the sharks and the treasure
If you would rather go your way then go your way
I'll sail this ship alone

Well they said if I burnt myself alive
That you'd come running back

24. Hey, nothing left to it
She's proven herself to be the worst I could imagine. Now I must merely get myself completely out of everything with her, and if possible... no, no point in going there.

She has no idea who she's screwed, though.

Some deeply-in-love but linguistically-challenged guy is sure to buy it - you'll spread a little joy and get some cash at the same time... (No, I'm not kidding.)

A nice 8"x10" glossy.

Then they usually send me a nice, glossy restraining order.
