Success
I have recently been experiencing some success in my life. Is it unusual to feel that you don't deserve it, even though you've worked very hard for it?

1. Congratulations. If you've worked hard, I don't see why you'd feel that
way - but I couldn't comment on whether it is unusual or not.

2. No, it's not unusual.
Only YOU can be responsible for your internal self-chatter, however. That effects everything.

Good on ya! :toast: Keep allowing yourself to RECEIVE and SUCCEED.

3. in your case
your success is very well deserved.

If you're garnering significant praise, maybe you're feeling that it is too soon, and wary of jinxing the trials? It may also be that you will always, at some level, feel the price you've paid will be too high, regardless of your degree of success?

I don't know. I don't know you, and I've only read a few of your posts, so I can't make any sort of truly informed comments.

I do think you're a very amazing person, and I hope your trials are completely successful.

4. Congratulations...
and I don't think it's unusual at all. Seems to me that the ones most deserving shrug it off and seem almost embarrassed, while the folks who rode coattails or just tagged along and got there by luck seem to feel the most entitled.

Enjoy it. Be proud of it.

Congratulations!!!

5. No, it's not unusual, it's just a sign that you are a thoughtful person.
No matter how hard or how well you work for it, there's
always some amount of chance involved, some bit of luck...

And even if there isn't, you're still aware that, somewhere
out there, a person who did all the same things has SQUAT
to show for it right now.

Or perhaps you're just naturally wary of the dread sin PRIDE.
That's the sneakiest of all the dread sins, y'know!
