A Christmas present for my son? I keep debating, and it's going to sell out I'm sure.

1. heck yeah! Especially if it's life-size and mobile!
er, sorry... reverted to childhood there for a moment. I'd get it for my child, if it was the type of thing they liked.

8. That was my first thought, too! The laser cannons had better
be functional, 'cause I'm gonna need them.

10. few years ago...x-mas eve...
out of the blue & just getting into star wars, my son says, I can't wait until I get that millennium falcon from santa. My hubby was at k-mart getting paper products for our huge family dinner (immediate family runs about 25 people), he finds the last one. that was a close one.

One to keep unopened in the box and one to play with.

18. Sure!
I'm debating getting me nephew this:

Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer

But I don't know how much your son is into Lego Star Wars.

Now my nephew...that's another story. I'm seriously debating getting him this, but I don't want my other
two nephews and niece left out.

But you can't go wrong with an AT-AT.

21. lol...hope you weren't
being :sarcasm: sarcastic. I thought the same thing, except, I will only buy the elmo for ebay. I know the star wars thingie will be money somewhat...gulp, 90 bucks... well spent...my son will play with that, but the baby probably would be frightened by elmo.

24. How old?
If he's an adult and is into that sort of thing he will appreciate the collectors' value. Too expensive for a child, though.

he's getting the Lego set of Jabba's sail barge for christmas this year. 75 bucks or so. So my answer to your question of should you get the At-AT for your 7 year old...is HELL YES! :)

31. On ebay....
On ebay, they have the AT AT. Vintage , new, broken and missing parts, you name it, they have it. Last year a used AT-AT driver went over $100.00. I'm going to buy it in 30 minutes.
