On Sunday, the day after Jon Fenlon caught Magglio Ordonez's magical home run, he said: "I hope Magglio doesn't want it back. I'm not sure what I'll do if that happens."

Well, as it turns out, Magglio wouldn't mind having it back.

But Ordonez doesn't want to keep it. He wants to turn it over the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.

"They already got my bat," Ordonez said Wednesday before the Tigers practiced at Comerica Park. Tiger. "If he will give it to me, I would like to give them the ball."

It's not like the fan hit the ball. Give him the ball. He's willing to give you one of his bats in return. That would be cool if they had both in Cooperstown. Plus I admit a pro Magglio bias and an anti kid that looks like a jerk bias. :hi: Shame on me.
