2. Because of a perfectly placed little white spot I always joke that
it looks obscene when our pudgy baby lays around like that. He is very affectionate too. But he's not speaking to me because my dad brought his kitten over last night and I was cuddling with her, and Merlin is a little bit jealous. :hi:

32. I love it when black cats do that...
And show their white spots. I have a brother who was superstitious about my black cat until I picked him up and showed him his white tummy. (The cat, not my brother).

He's the paraplegic kitty at my vet clinic, and has quite the wardrobe... And a great many fans, including me.:D

18. He's a very exceptional cat.
He greets any and all people who walk into the clinic, skitters over and rubs his face on your feet. And he sympathizes with the sick animals, stations himself by the sickest ones. And he has a lot of fans among the clients, including a lady who sews the little pants for him, with a hole for his tail. I'm awfully fond of him, and bring him catnip toys and send him a card, every year on his birthday. They generally have a party for him. He is a luckier cat than most cats, even with his disability, since he has a more interesting life than most cats ever will...:-)

8. Haha, we have a tubby black cat that does the same thing!
We call her 'the slut' and everytime my mom spots her doing it she says, "My mom always told me that you should air out your kitty..."

She's somewhat rude, my mom. :D

Your mom sounds hysterical.

The funny thing is that when he rolls over, it looks like his bones move-but not his skin. :hi:

solid black but for that one white island. He go to the point when he hear someone say "why do you call him Spot?" he would flop over his back.

39. I should actually add a small correction to what I said.
I think our other cat at least grasps the concept
enough to care about APPEARANCES. Although she does
all the same stuff every cat does, she has NEVER let
me get a photo!

This is the closest pic I have to her looking less
than completely refined and ladylike:

35. One of my tabbies does this perfectly!
Back legs stretched out, spine curved, front legs splayed out between his hind legs, and his tail sticking straight through the center of it all! Phoenix becomes "Buddha-cat" when he does that.

22. Tucker's favorite ploy
We call this the Venus Flytrap maneuver. Lures you in to rub his tummy and attacks! Sometimes he lets you rub his tummy which make the Venus Flytrap maneuver all the more effective!
