6. my mom recently got push-polled; and even though she's mostly apolitical,

she hates Bush with a white-hot passion. She kept telling the woman to put down that the republicans were all assholes. When the pollster said, "oh, ma'am, I can't do that," my mom started spelling it for her. SPELLING it for her, as if the woman just didn't understand her.

Yes, my mom knew exactly what the woman meant, but just played her like a country fiddle, just 'cause. As crazy as my mom makes me, that reminded me why I love her dearly. And this is the same woman who's always telling me I'm too "radical" about my politics. Too funny.
