Unless we're talking about the marriage of one of my friends. Within 7 weeks, it was fortunately over however.

25. Yeah, she's on painkillers and she decided to come knock
on my door just as she reached her "golden mean". I immediately steered her back to her apartment. I realized the only way she'd listen to me is if I barked orders at her. It took it out of me after a while.

O, drama! Now, I'm finally getting to relax, myself.

22. If you like that......
....then see if you can find Rosenblum's "Vintner's Cuvee." It's a zin-dominant blend, and it kicks ass for an under $10 bottle of wine. Anything by Rosenblum (in reds) is usually reliably great.

Ok, I'm Canadian, so I know real beer. Back in 1986, there was a beer store worker's strike.
As a result, all Canadian beer companies products were... unavailable. (Molson, Labatt, Carling, etc.)

As a result, practically the only beer we could buy was Pabst Blue Ribbon or another "lesser" American beer.

I still have nightmares about that time today.

Fortunately, the therapy has helped.

52. That shit somehoe made it's way up here to Canada.
It's not bad, but there is something that gets on my nerves about American beer. No matter how good it is, there is always a slightly unpleasant after taste of alcohol, because they have to boost the alcohol content in order to be able to sell it over here.

53. Herold Pivovar "Midnight Wheat" yum yum
Midnight Wheat -Currently Available in Chicago!!! (01/06)

ABV: 5.2%
OG: 12.5 degrees plato
Malt Varieties: These malts were made for Herold, and are generally not used in the Czech Republic - specially-malted wheat from Moravia, local barley from Breznice, and dark specialties malted at Tabor and Brno.
Tasting notes: It is a very interesting combination. What I like about this type of dark wheat beer is the sort of toffeeish maltiness from the dark beer, and the slightly crisp, sharp acidity – a bit like apples – from the wheat beer, is a bit like having a liquid toffee apple.
Brewing notes: Starts as a light wheat, brewed with 60% wheat malt and 40% local golden malt and Bavarian yeast, then lagered up to 6 weeks for smoothness. Double decoction brew, primary fermentation in open vats for 8 days at step-controlled temperature; secondary fermentation is cold in lager tanks, where it is combined with Bohemian black lager (which has been filtered to reduce yeasts, reviving the fermentation). This adds the chocolate color, enriched body, and complex taste highlights of smoke, coffee, and a touch of caramel.
Food pairings: The acidity that comes out from the fruitiness in the beer cuts the fat in a down-home meal like sausage, egg and chips.

Michael Jackson Loves this beer! No not that Michael Jackson the Einstein looking Michael..
