Wow! What a game 7!

Congrats to the Cards.

What a game!

That homer stunned me!

2. I'm going 4-2.
Cards are going to be tougher than anyone thinks.

Look what they just did to the Mets.

7. But still.
I didn't think St. Louis had a chance.
They still won the series no matter how many games it went.

9. He's referring to the previous Cardinals/Tigers World Series.
Cards won in '34, Tigers in '68.

It's vastly underrated.

23. Truly
Preventing those runs made the 9th that much more of a nailbiter. It was a sucker punch.

I think it surprised even him. It was like his wrist was rubber.

27. Know what, though?
When Buck said, "Have you ever seen better?" I immediately thought, "Yeah — 37 years ago, in the same yard, by the same club. Three of 'em."

Two by Tommie Agee and one — the best ever — by Ron Swoboda.

20. Detroit in 6.
As long as the Mets are out, I honestly don't care who wins. The Mets are out, and that's all that counts.

25.  I'll be rooting for the Tigers.
I so wanted the Mets to win tonight. I like to see teams make it who aren't usually in the playoffs. Too many Braves, Yankees, Cardinals.
