Great watching Hepburn on 1973 Cavett interview tonight on TCM. |

She was very 'Katharine Hepburny'. That's a compliment: funny, commanding, self-deprecating and never missing a chance to praise her parents.
Part II next Thursday.

after the interview thanking her for doing it because she'd always been so private and I had enjoyed seeing her with Cavett. Got a lovely short hand-written note back from her - much to my astonishment. I'll have to try to catch Thursday's show.

TCM had "The Philadelphia Story" on last night also. Kate's one of the true beauties of the era, heck any era, and a true true actress!
