Here's my assignment:

"Events in France , England , and Lynn prove that Marx was right when he said that artisans were “conservative” and “reactionary.”
Do you agree or disagree. Write a five-paragraph essay presenting your view and backing it up with appropriate reasoning and evidence."

again, x(

My democratic representative, and I don't care what anybody says, is a complete dumb-ass and is an embarrassment to the democratic party in my opinion. Corrine Brown actually thought Freedonia, a fictitious country in the Marx brothers film "Duck Soup" was a real country and that Bush should do more about the "ethnic cleansing" going on there. She also said that all Latin-Americans look the same to her. She also gets Lexus cars for her family members from special interests but her fellow democratic colleagues are scared to death of her and let her rant on and do things that could one day amount to a front page, headline corruption scandal, but her republican peers love her and try to get a microphone in front of her face as frequently as possible.

2. Marx is fun!
Well, this Marx at least:

I could lend you my Marx/Engels "Kunst und Kultur." (Art and Culture.) It's only two books, approx. 1500 pages.

:hi:

5. I'd love to write a paper about Marx
Groucho that is:

"Outside of a dog a book is a man's best friend, inside of a dog it's too dark to read."

11. Which position are you taking?
As a leftist-dem (I'm beyond liberal, but not quite a socialist) I'd disagree, but that's just me. I have a BA in Political Theory so any help wanted, you can have. I haven't looked at the manifesto in 10 years though.

12. I don't know yet...I have to re-read the manifesto, as well as
the Thompson piece on Luddism, and another piece about the Lynn, MA Shoemaker's rebellion, then I will decide what I think. I'm tending towards disagreement, but I'm not sure how I'll frame it just yet. Thank you for the offer of help, I may take you up on it. :)
