Grey's Anatomy actor: "I'm not your little faggot"
Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight has confirmed he is gay. The actor, who plays unassuming Dr. George O'Malley on the hit series, decided to go public after rumors began surfacing about his sexuality. Knight confirms to American publication People, "I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumours that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me." Media reports have suggested that Knight was forced out of the closet after details of a fight between co-stars Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey became public. According to the National Enquirer, the two got into a fight while Filming the show last week and Washington allegedly yelled to Dempsey, "I'm not your little faggot like (name deleted)." The publication said they withheld printing the actual name of the co-star Washington mentioned "because of the extreme nature of the slur."

Damn, to me that's the real story, not that one of the actors is gay.

2. Agreed
That story got much the same reaction when someone posted it in the Lounge last night. Yet the homophobic remark got zero coverage in the MSM.

5. You're kidding right?
What if it were two white actors fighting and one of them yelled to the other one, refering to a third black actor "I'm not your nigger like ", would it still be a bs story?

7. I've never been to a congressional hearing either
Should I not read anything by a reporter at one of them?

I don't care so much about what one actor says to another, but about how the coverage of it reflects on our overall society and their tacit approval of anything anti-gay. If Mel Gibson had railed on about 'queers' when he was drunkenly arrested the story would have not had as much weight.

I like the give a fuck o meter though. I'll have to get me one of those.

3. That story has evolved
First it was an argument between Washington and Dempsey with no mention of another cast member, but since T.R. Knight "came out" yesterday the story has taken a different spin. I'm not sure if I believe it, at least I hope its not true, I like Washington on the show.
