Two fighter jets just flew really low over my office! (Detroit)
It was cool, really, because the building shook.  My office is
about 2-3 miles from Comerica Park, where game 1 is tomorrow. 


I'm glad to see that they are providing security for the World
Series.
I love military aircraft, I must admit, even though I don't
know much about it.  It's one of those things I don't begrudge
my tax money being spent to build, because they are used to
protect us, if necessary, and to entertain us at air shows.

2. excuse my ignorance .....
I was born in Detroit but have been away from a long time.

First ball game I ever attended as a child was in Tiger Stadium. I assume Comerica is the new park; when did they build that? Is the old stadium torn down?

5. we live under one of the landing paths for Eglin AFB
As a private pilot, I love all aircraft. The F22 Raptor is really different though. You can't hear it coming, and the sound is sort of pulsing vs. the typical jet roar.

Also, the Blue Angels are based in Pensacola not far from us...we go see them once/twice a year on the boat. Amazing.
