5. I saw the Greenville show as a teenager...

and that was before I appreciated the brilliance of Skynyrd. The fourth time I had seen them. Never knew it would be the last.

I have never known anyone who was actually there. It's always that way, though. Never know the worth of water until the well is dry...

7. Yeah, it was "just" one of those concerts at Memorial Auditorium...

that occured about every three months. Always 3 bands on the bill (J.Geils, Skynyrd, Blue Oyster Cult, Kiss, Johnny Winter, Foghat, Cheap Trick, whoever...) for only $6. All we teenage heads would go and smoke weed, eat quaaludes, and set off firecrackers.
