13. a friend of mine used to manage a phone bank for democratic...
operatives, his SO would, after we were up prolly too long in the thick of election cycles, come up with names; here's a few: Paddy O'Furniture (my fav :rofl:), Cherry Cupboards, Chiquita A'more, Traila Parks...funny stuff is my point :)

hubby actually conducted a survey with one of the guys that runs/edits CounterPunch, but his name wasn't that funny as i recall :shrug:

8. Personally, I miss IPX/SPX, and never having to reboot a Novell server,
being able to control file locks, record locks, etc.

But now it's all IP everywhere. And fucking MS Windows Servers still come loaded with Solitaire and Pinball and other essential server shit like that.

now that you've mentioned it i hear you NOT recommending a MS server for our little dalliances here at home yes? what is a good one? are there such things to administer web based stuff from home? cause now i'm simply curious ~
