1. There's not a grape or a nut to be found in that cereal. |
|
:P Kinda like sweetbreads.. The name has nothing to do with what's in it.

Though, as per to sweet breads, their shape is similar to an almond... testicle too, but I'm not out to describe product ingredients...

:P REGULAR Grape Nuts has no grapes or nuts. The Trail Mix one obviously does. I stand corrected.

6. The one I tried looked different to that |
|
but I think that "grape-shot" would be a better discription than "grape-nuts".

I cannot stand eating a bowl of them though. I haven't tried the non plain varieties though.

In fact, I love it so much I only eat it once a year. It's my official summer vacation food, right up there with cream and butter . . . yum. I eat it with soy milk and Sweet & Low, but it's still so many calories.

13. I can still remember their ad campaign that addressed |
|
the whole "problem" of soggy cereals. I personally prefer my cereal to soften up some before I eat it. I don't like cereals like Capt'n Crunch for that particular reason; they don't soften up some. With those "crunchy" cereals, I find cuts all over in the insides of my mouth after eating them. Give me my Cocoa Crispies, Honey Combs, Cookie Crisp, and Lucky Charms any day. They do soften up and I'm glad they do.
That's just my opinion. I know others prefer their cereal to stay crunchy. To each their own. I won't complain about your crunching if you won't complain about my slurping. :P

14. Totally yes, but with a "but" |
|
My teeth can no longer handle the cereal in its raw state so I either have to power-soak it in milk or mix it with Yogurt and let it sit :(
This is most unfortunate because I actually love the stuff!
