Last night we had T-storms, high wind (45mpr) and rain. Windy and raw all day, temps lower 40's.
The nasty part of fall is definitely here.

20. Cold. :(
Though anything below 75 degrees is cold to me, and anything below 80 is not warm enough. Ideally I like it in the upper 80's to low 90's, with a nice helping of humidity in the air. I hate everything about the cold time of year (which lasts about 9 months here) - the struggle into layers and layers of clothes that don't really help in keeping warm, and then the struggle back out of them at the end of the day; the fumbling with coats, hats, boots, mittens, or any combination thereof; the dry air from the heater, not to mention the heat bills; waking up in a cold room so it's a struggle just to get out of bed ... bah. I seriously need to move south.

Don't mind me, I just felt like bitching there for a moment....

24. 54 degrees, overcast, cloudy, depressing looking,
Edited on Sat Oct-21-06 07:22 PM by Jamastiene
whatever you want to call it when the sky is gray and everything looks hideous. My desktop weather application says it will be mostly clear tonight, but I didn't see any evidence of that today. Ho hum, I hate this type of weather. I like it this time of year when it is clear at night though. If I felt better, I'd go outside and run around playing a game I used to call "coven of one." I normally wish there were more pagans where I live, but this time of year, I wish it more often. I miss the wiccan friends I used to have. We used to go outside a lot near sundown this time of year and take snacks with us. We'd walk around looking at the silhouettes of the trees and enjoy the beauty.
