I don't even know what to say about it. You can access the information by clicking a link to the college's home page by clicking here:

Or directly here:

What do men really need to hear from me about making good grades and succeeding in life? Keep in mind that I am the only female in my engineering curriculum as of right now.

2. I'd say it depends on the individual
I don't think you should adopt a one-size-fits-all mentoring method because some people will respond to A, some to B and others to D, E or F. Plus, you'd likely hone it as you went along.

Anyway, I doubt this program would just throw you to the wolves, as it were. There's gotta be some training on how to be a mentor.

Go for it. You've got nothing to lose (except some time) and a helluva lot to gain.

3. I don't understand who these mentors are.
Are they college juniors or college graduates? What does a college junior know about 'success' in life?

I certainly could not be a mentor because I have a master's degree and work as a janitor. I suppose I could mentor people away from math majors. Major in engineering or computer science or accounting - something that companies actually hire, because a math major only qualifies you for more schooling. If you wanna major in math, get a PhD.
