"If you want to test a man's character, give him power."
I'm doing some last-minute sermon preparation, and came across this quote. I find it very interesting, and would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Obviously, it needs to be inclusive ("if you want to test someone's character, give them power"). Other than that, what do you think?

I've gotta go. You have approximately 5 hours. :)

There are some universally recognized truths. That is one of them. To me, the statement represents the Golden Rule. I would love to hear your sermon. Think you could post some snippets of it for us?

"If you want to test a man's athletic cup, kick him really hard in the nuts". But I believe the OP's original quotation to be more pertinent to the sermon.
