WOW! See soft-rockers "Firefall" on tour with ONE of the original members!

The original band: Rick Roberts, Jock Bartley, Mark Andes (ex-Spirit, Ko Jo Gunne), Larry Burnett, Michael Clarke (ex-Byrds, Burrito Bros.)

The current band: Jock Bartley, Chris Ball, Sandy Ficca, Bill Hopkins, Steven Weinmeister.

The hits:

Livin' Ain't Livin'
You Are The Woman
Just Remember I Love You

Their enduring reputation: a soft-rock Eagles knock-off.

1. Try the new TOTO also.
F'n kicks serious ass,and I believe almost all original members except for the lead singer. The new album is just um believable, and does feature the original singer on one track.
Luthaker is a god.

I know maybe you were poking fun with Firefall a bit....did like one of their hits.

2. You need the Carlton Lukather Band - The Paris Concert DVD
Absolutely terrifying. Because they each have different styles, it's not really a "who plays best" deal. They alternate standing in the spotlight and just when you think they can't get any better, they do. It's worth the $17.99 for their version of Jeff Beck's "The Pump"...also found on their "No Substitutions" CD...but that's not the only hight point here.

3. Firefall has had many many lineups over the years
they play here often and have consistently been a very good band.

Jock Bartley is a regional musical stalwart here in Colorado, giving generously of his time and talent to worthwhile causes.

5. Firefall was better than the Eagles
Spotty quality, but they had some CSN&Y influence going on too.
