Michael J Fox, like Christopher Reeve before him, has taken up the mantle to promote awareness, education and understanding of his condition and to promote research into the causes to help future generations, as well as to help those already with their existing conditions. Fox will leave be an inspiration and a positive role model for generations to come and the work that he and his foundation are doing will benefit people in the forthcoming years, decades and centuries. I truly believe that people such as Michael J Fox will lay the foundations for this world to become a much better place

13. I was listening when he said that.

No, I don't normally listen to Limpballs, but he's on right after my local morning radio show and I hadn't changed the station yet. What he said was basically that he thought Fox was faking or exaggerating his symptoms because he hadn't seen Fox act like that on either Boston Legal or during any of his other appearances. He accused Fox of using his disease to further his political ideals. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and I wish he could have heard the insults I was firing back at HIS drug addicted fat ass.

For what it's worth though, Limpballs did apologize shortly afterward. Apparently one of his staffers set him straight during a commercial break because he came back offering apologies and even offered to apologize to Fox personally. He claimed that he "didn't understand" the disease and that he'd misinterpreted Fox's jerking as something that he'd done on purpose.

I don't buy it. Even if Limpballs DID genuinely misunderstand Fox's behavior, a guy with his listenership and reach has the RESPONSIBILITY to research a disability before attacking someone who has it in front of millions of listeners. You'd think that Limbaugh, with his millions of dollars and dozens of staffers, could have had someone LOOK IT UP before leading his show with it. Instead, he attacked the victims of this tragic disease and demonstrated once again that he's an uneducated ass who has no business being on the air.
