I got a job!!!

Lost my job in April due to downsizing. I just got a job offer from a company that I had gotten a really good feeling for. The people were nice, it was something I actually wanted to do and the pay is almost what I was making. Most of the jobs available meant having to take a cut. I was expecting that. Then this came up. I had applied about a month back and got an interview last week. I am so happy. And the timing was good since I just deposited my last unemployment check!

Considering the jobs I was looking at which would have meant a considerable pay cut, this is good. Plus I can participate in the 401K starting day one. Most places I had interviewed you had to wait either one year or two years!

I am very excited. Who would have thought I'd be excited about going back to the grind every day. But when you've been out of work for a while it is very exciting, especially since it is something I want to do and the people were all very nice.
