1. Couldn't stand Encounter or Ensigns |
|
So I'll substitute The Inner Light, especially the final scene; that's a heartbreaker. And Family.

3. Encounter, overall is not so great... |
|
but a few scenes really stand out. Especially Q's initial rant with Picard on the Enterprise bridge; reminding Picard of human history... some very intuitive stuff.

4. Not for the first season. |
|
For season one, it was just remakes of original episodes.

6. I'm too lazy to look up the names |
|
But the one in which Picard lives an entire lifetime with a family and children - the one where he plays the flute. I loved that one.
Measure of a Man All Good Things
There was one in which some kind of work had to be done on the Enterprise and the whole crew beamed down to the planet. But when Picard found out they had horses, he had to go back to get his own saddle and got into all kinds of trouble. I've forgotten what the plot was but I had to love a man who realizes that you can't comfortably ride without your own saddle (I've ridden in the same saddle for over 30 years).

9. The Inner Light, skygazer. Love that one, too. |
|
The other one is Starship Mine -- I think.

17. Darmok was the first thing I thought of |
|
It's neat how it takes an established Star Trek convention and turns it on its head.

10. Not in order except for the first one... |
|
Tapestry The First Duty I, Borg Who Watches the Watchers? The Offspring The Outcast Preemptive Strike All Good Things Lower Decks Parallels
very tough list to make. I'm surprised I have 4 episodes from Season 7...as I'd put it the 4th best.
Seasons 3,5,6 and 7 are really really good though. 4 I think is way overrated.

11. Season 7 was rather good... |
|
Especially when 5 and 6 were such rubbish...
4 is probably the best, though 2 and 3 are refreshingly good too.
"Preemptive Strike" was a good one, though Ro couldn't say "Hasperat" correctly... very jarring...

Or are we restricting this to video? Because if you accept the books, "Q-In Law" is hilarious. Q and Lwaxana Troi hook up. Priceless.

18. "Ship in a bottle" (return of Dr. Moriarty) and " Elementary, Dear Data" |
|

were two of my favorties. I liked most Data-centered & Reg episodes, but disliked most Q or Klingon tales.

All Good Things ... Family The Inner Light Tapestry The Best of Both Worlds Yesterday's Enterprise Relics (hey, it had Scotty!) Attached The Measure of a Man The Chase
I loved how they had Scotty and Picard together in the holodeck, on the bridge of the old Enterprise.
