chuffed adj. Someone who describes themselves as being chuffed is generally happy with life. You can also get away with saying you are unchuffed or dischuffed if something gets your back up. Throughout my career I have been much more focused on foreign policy than electoral politics. But today, with a mere 13 days left to determine the course of the next two pivotal years and beyond, I am too concerned about the direction of our country to stay quiet. This must be a year of change.
