Do you brush or floss your teeth first?
If you floss first, don't you brush the plaque back in? And, if you brush and then only floss, don't you leave all that stuff in your mouth? It seems to me like the best solution is to brush, floss, and then brush again.

What are your thoughts on this?

1. I floss first,
then brush.

Plaque is already on your teeth. I don't think flossing affects it as much as brushing. You're just getting the bits of food with flossing. :hi:

4. My husband does that too
And, I must say...you and my husband have better teeth than I do! Maybe there is some truth to your method(?). :hi:

2. I brush, then floss.
My thoughts are the same as yours. My dentist growing up always said brush THEN floss. :) And after I floss, I rinse with Listerine too.

7. I floss regularly because I remember this quote:
The patient asked his dentist, "Which teeth should I floss?" and the dentist replied, "Only the ones you want to keep!" ;-)

Usually when watching TV.
I figure the saliva carries it away.

38. Floss?
Do people actually do that?

I thought it was a racket to sell another pointless consumer item. I can't see the need for fabric softener, either, to be honest. Haven't used it in like ten years.

I am 27 and have only had one cavity, when I was 11.

40. I hardly ever do it either, but the point of flossing is gum care
more than just preventing carries.
