What keeps you chuckling without end?
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 08:33 PM by HypnoToad
We all need humor in our so-called lives, particularly now. Especially when yours contains a void.

I sooth my emptiness by re-watching Futurama, The Nanny, The Critic, and Roseanne (seasons 3-5). It's rather like a blanket. Warm, soft, cuddling, soothing, and sometimes a bit naughty too. But tastefully so.

What keeps your spirits up in this age of empty selfishness and confusion?

On edit: corrected a big-ass typo! :wow:

1. I think of a scene from Six Feet Under.
Nate Sr.: You hang on to your pain like it means something. Like it's worth something. Well, let me tell you - it's not worth shit. Let it go! Infinite possibilities, and all he can do is whine.
David: Well, what am I supposed to do?
Nate Sr.: What do you think? You can do *anything* you lucky bastard - you're alive! What's a little pain compared to that?
David: It can't be that simple.
Nate Sr.: What if it is?

I think maybe it is that simple :)

2. As Abraham Lincoln said...
... "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

7. Cheney
All his evilness makes me believe in Gnosticism which makes it a little better. Rule no. 1-"the creator of this world is demented." THAT explains it.

Oh and Kids in the Hall (getting the first 3 seasons on DVD was a wise move)-funniest guys ever. It's always those Canadians, isn't it. I bet the REAL God is a Canadian. Bastard.
