What keeps you chuckling without end? |
|

We all need humor in our so-called lives, particularly now. Especially when yours contains a void.
I sooth my emptiness by re-watching Futurama, The Nanny, The Critic, and Roseanne (seasons 3-5). It's rather like a blanket. Warm, soft, cuddling, soothing, and sometimes a bit naughty too. But tastefully so.
What keeps your spirits up in this age of empty selfishness and confusion?
On edit: corrected a big-ass typo! :wow:

1. I think of a scene from Six Feet Under. |

Nate Sr.: You hang on to your pain like it means something. Like it's worth something. Well, let me tell you - it's not worth shit. Let it go! Infinite possibilities, and all he can do is whine. David: Well, what am I supposed to do? Nate Sr.: What do you think? You can do *anything* you lucky bastard - you're alive! What's a little pain compared to that? David: It can't be that simple. Nate Sr.: What if it is?
I think maybe it is that simple :)

All his evilness makes me believe in Gnosticism which makes it a little better. Rule no. 1-"the creator of this world is demented." THAT explains it.
Oh and Kids in the Hall (getting the first 3 seasons on DVD was a wise move)-funniest guys ever. It's always those Canadians, isn't it. I bet the REAL God is a Canadian. Bastard.
