Anybody use Acuvue contact lenses (for astigmatism)? |
|
Just wondering what you thought of them.

1. I do. My astigmatism is fairly mild. |
|
I think they're great- never had any complaints about them.

2. I did when I lived in the states. |

I _loved_ them. My eyes rarely got dry. Mine were super-thin but seemed to retain a lot of moisture, so I rarely had to use re-wetting solution.
Unfortunately, my Swiss opthamologist won't prescribe Acu-Vue for me anymore. I now wear Bausch & Lomb SofLens 66 Toric.

always had the 'make them last for a year' ones that cost $300. Well, we decided to give these a try and I dare say they're quite good. When I'm dried out they're a bit irritating, but all in all, 2 weeks into it, I'm quite pleased and REALLY happy about saving so much money.
And I'm blind as a bat, BTW. My prescrip reads -4.50 so I'm pretty compromised... I'm glad I finally tried them. I tried disposables several years ago and they didn't work at all. These accuvue seem to be excellent. Worth a try!
