I am a web designer and light coder. I create sites and load content and create graphics and interfaces. I do most everything, but run the server. I strive to make them compliant and user friendly.
So they transfer me to a new division and now want me to be a web server administrator (win 2003). I am not qualified for this. Where I work we have a DOIM that takes care of that stuff.
How much training is involved to be a web server admin? they want me to create daily logs, load patches and basically keep the hackers out.
Thanks.
