24. If that doesn't work, I have a question for other DU hunters.

Halloween is coming up, and you know what that means: one of the biggest hauls of the year outside the midsummer abandoned lot baseball season. Only problem is, I'm having trouble configuring my property for the maximum possible take. My front lawn has four covered pits, but I can't think of many reasons trick-or-treaters would cross through it. I've thought of blocking the walkway leading to the front door, but that might cause them to assume no candy is available and avoid the house altogether. I'm also expecting at least a couple TPers this year, so I've rigged the tree out back with two snares, but I'm not sure the 14ga nylon cable I'm using will be strong enough for the task. And I'm really in a quandary about what to do with the front porch. I was thinking about rigging it with your standard trap door, but that's really blatant and obvious once you've used it to snag your first group. Another option would be a snare, but that would require extensive modifications to the front of the house.

Finally, I just purchased a new 40 square foot walk-in freezer specifically to hold the night's take. Do any of you veteran hunters think that will be large enough? I'm hoping that if I plan the night well I'll be eating like a king until April or May, but I'd hate to have to rush out and get a bigger storage unit because I have more meat than I expected to. Does anyone with more experience have suggestions or advice?
