Good news: Enroute to SoCal. Bad news: All those red States..
to go through. I loaded in Ft Smith, AR this morning
to Carson, CA. I 40 goes through a shitload of red
States. AR, OK(where I am tonight), TX, NM and AZ.

When I cross the Colorado River into CA near Needles,
I'll be tempted to kiss the ground! That'll be sometime
Sunday. Thank (diety) CA allows Sunday beer sales. I'm gonna
need it(off duty, of course).

Just praying there isn't a sig alert on the 91 Monday morning.

1. There are places that don't sell beer on Sunday?
*shudder*

Freaks!

I love California...one of the few great states that still permits its citizens to buy a beer while gassing their car up at the local 76 :)

2. Well, kiss the ground if you like but
southern California is not quite a bastion of liberalism.

4. Take care of yourself and don't forget to
do what I do down here in red state hell while I am driving; sneer at all the drivers that don't have badges.

7. Well, wave as y'all pass through Texas
We're sadly a red state, but we're not all bad.

Monday, I gotta catch a ride to Atlanta, then fly to New Orleans and back before heading to Chicago. I'll be seeing plenty of red then (as well as pretty much the whole center of the bible belt).
