Now limericks, I would understand it if those didn't engage you. But poetry, huh?

I want to like poetry. I think I'd make a very good emo coffee shop poetry reciter, but I just don't like most traditional poetry.

once i start exploring the history of an artform -- the biographies of those involved i usually develop at least some interest.

i hadn't considered it a long your lines -- makes me think.

29. i'm ok.
i'm sad.

now it's all about the funeral -- which i really don't have a big interest in -- because of all the struggle on a physical, emotional level with my dad.

i miss him -- and as much as struggled with the ''details'' of caring for him -- in a very strange way i miss doing it.

34. i think it must and it must take talent to do collage as well
i have tried, i mean i don't even have the basic technical skills of getting it to work and come out nicely

it may be easy to say that collage is art for the untalented if one is either 1) extremely talented oneself or 2) never tried it so hasn't tackled the very real difficulties

as for drawing with my wacom mouse, let's not even go there

if it isn't talent, well, it's a hell of a lot of practice and skill involved as far as i'm concerned

there are still those who think photography is art for the lazy and those w.out talent or skill but i doubt most modern artists agree
