Best Question Ever From A Random Stranger |
|
So I'm standing in downtown Seattle, and this guy walks up and asks me "Hey, where's a coffeeshop?"
I'm not making that up. I have a witness.

that would hold true for either not being able to see the coffeeshops or for hitting on me.

7. Hmmm.... almost as good as... |
|
... being overheard by a fellow Brit (I live in Denmark), the person in question then coming over to ask me "excuse me, but is there anywhere I can get some cheese around here?" whilst I am standing just outside a big, very pungent, shop called "Ost" (danish for cheese), holding a bag with some cheese in it, with a big picture of a cheese printed on the outside....
.... I've always wanted to credit them with a slightly "Monty Python" take on the whole situation - but I really rather think that from the ensuing conversation, flushing of the face and his acute embarassment as I pointed out the shop to him, that they were, actually (tragically) serious...
