We just bought a B&B in Jemez Springs!!!!

I've been dealing w/ the intricacies for 2 weeks now. Only the inspection to get through.

5 bedrooms 6 baths, 7+acres, hot springs w/in 1/2 mile, an hour to Santa Fe or Alb.

Gorgeous cottonwoods all over, and if we drill a well that gets hot water it's all ours!!!


DAMN....I'm so freaking happy.... Christmas in the Jemez!!!!

Went to school at New Mexico Tech in Socorro. On a Geo field study we went to the Jemez Springs area. Took some samples of one of the roadside hot springs, then on to the Caldera. Beautiful country. PM me when you get it up and running. My SO and I go to New Mexico frequently (We'll be in Gallop and the Zuni res this weekend) and a day or two in around the hot springs sounds good.

to fix the problem.

6. In all honesty, it will become a family retreat... occasional B&B guests

We just need an escape from Silicon Valley.... and our Pagosa Springs cabin now has a 39' (not kidding) condo-plex going up next to it.


I would love to actually run a B&B, but as hubby says..."Who is gonna clean it?"

11. *envy* accepted! My sis's MIL has been in Real Estate

for 17 years and was shocked by how beauliful it was. Tanya, the listing agent has been doing this for all of 1 1/2 years. She doesn't list in the MLS. The owner had 2 sales fall through in 8 months. We offered cash.
