LOS ANGELES - Bob Barker is heading toward his last showcase, his final "Come on down." The silver-haired daytime-TV icon is retiring in June, he told The Associated Press Tuesday.

Seems like I heard about him retiring a few years ago. His retirement seems to be a lot like Stephen King's.

with an oxygen mask attached to his face. Gosh, I always thought my kids would get to watch that show. Bummer.

Another part of my childhood coming to an end. They should just end it in June...no one could ever fill the shoes of Bob Barker. They just don't make game show hosts like they used to.

..it was great fun! Bob is one-of-a-kind...irreplaceable! :-)
