Does anyone else find Dracula boring?
I mean, he's such a buzzkill. And the whole crew: Renfield, Von Helsing, bats, zzzzz...

The whole "BLEAH BLEAH" just sounds like "blah blah" to me.

And let's be real, OK? The only reason any of these films attract any curiosity are for the heaving bosoms.

C'mon! Look at these jokers... give me a break!

OK, OK, I'll CONCEDE Nosferatu was a scary emm-effer!

But these guys? Please...

2. Actually, I prefer the true story of Vlad Dracula.
There's a movie called Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula. It is very good, even though not completely accurate.

26. After I found out more about the historical Dracula, I was so much
less interested in the myths. They don't have anything on the real thing. And I think said real thing gets far too much flak for being such a butchering despot. He was also militarily brilliant.

27. He's a hero to the people of Romania. (I think that's his country).
They get pissed when they hear talk of the myths.

3. Who doesn't like black-lace heaving bosoms?
I thought that's the whole point of these movies. To have a reason to show black-lace heaving bosoms.

9. vampires suck. werewolves kick ass.
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 09:37 PM by ikhor
i think werewolves are more scary. They tap into the human fear of some crazed wild animal stalking you at night in the woods, waiting to eviscerate you. (which is possible, but not likely by a werewolf)

vampires are just pathetic guys in goth makeup with weird accents and bad teeth.

Nosferatu - yes

Gary Oldman - also yes

Every other dracula movie has been shit, as was Dark Shadows.

11. Gary Oldman was the best, IMO.
My favorite was Gary Oldman wooing Winona Ryder:

"I have crossed oceans of time to find you."

I melted right there.

24. That movie and Gary Oldman
get my vote as the best ever, too.

The book by Bram Stoker was an excellent read.

Jordan's was the most sensual and seductive Dracula ever.
