What popular restaurants have you not eaten at?
I just answered a thread about Olive Garden. I made the reference i had no real opinion as i had never dined at that particular establishment. This got me to thinking about all the big chain places i have never eaten.

Olive Garden

Tgi Friday's

Chilli's

Red Lobster

Outback

Jack in the Box

Domino's pizza (actually had a bite from one slice, that was enough)

Hmmm, i'm sure theres more but i can't think of them all. Which one have you not eaten at, or regretted having done so?

2. I've never eaten at
Red Lobster, nor a Jack in the Box. I've never had Church's chicken, nor have I eaten at Taco Bell.

I'm sure I'm not missing much.

4. I like Church's chicken, Taco Bell...not so much.
Funny thing around here concerning Taco Hell. We used to have Dell Taco, which is tons better as they use all fresh stuff, never frozen or pre-cooked. When we finally got Taco Bell's around here in the late 80's early 90's the hype ran Dell Taco out. Now people never go to Taco Bell, and wish Dell Taco was still here.

6. I've eaten at all in the list except Jack in the Box.
That's because I don't think there are any here in Georgia. At least, I haven't seen any.

any of their waitresses and I don't need to see another one.

LOL they should just pony up and admit they are a tit bar in training and get over it, and not try to pass themselves off as a so called family establishment. I will NEVER cross their doorstep.

also never been to OUTBACk, although that is just accident since I love steak. However, Applebee's does a pretty good little sirloin and has a complete menu section for Weight Watchers with points included so I do go there sometimes.

I will on occasion go to Olive G for the salad and soup mostly

who needs White Castle if you got Krystal? Krystal is coming to Fort Worth soon, I hear

Dominoes is spawn of the devil, won't eat it

13. Kinda with ya on Hooters.
If i wanted to look at tits i'd go to a strip bar, or have a gander at my wives. We had Krystal Burger here for about a minute. It died a quick death, mostly due to location i think as they were in a poor spot.

I hate seafood. :puke:

There aren't any Jack in the Box up in CT but I do want to eat there one day because I heard it's pretty good.

17. Oh i'm sure yer quite cool.
My not eating at any of these places has a lot to do with my weird taste, more than anything cool about me. I just prefer a place where i can get say Pinto beans, cooked cabbage, fried(pan)'taters and cornbread. Or maybe real hickory smoked BBQ. The problem for me is not the image or anything of these places, just the fact they don't serve the plain country/peasant food i so enjoy.

16. Applebees, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, Stuckeys, Hard Rock Cafe,
Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Bucco di Beppo, Hooters, Macaroni Grill, Red Robin.

There are a whole group that I've eaten at once, and have no desire to, again.

Like Olive Garden, where everything was drowned in oil.

18. I'm guilty of Bob Evans!
Have to add Hard Rock to my list i think. I may have eaten there many years ago, but not sure if it was Hard Rock or an imitation.

20. I think I have eaten
at all the restaurants listed so far except Jack in the Box and Church's Chicken, we have neither of those here in Minnesota.

I know there is a lot of Olive Garden hate on this board but I do love their soup and salad, I never order anything else on the rare occasion I go there.

I have never eaten at Cheesecake Factory

21. Outback, Hooters, Jack in the Box, Cracker Barrell
We don't have Jack in the Box in Michigan, so I've never eaten there.

I went to Outback a couple of times and the wait for a table was too long, so I ended up somewhere else. Their food looks and smells good, though.

I will never enter a Hooters. I don't have a problem with their existence, I'm just not going to go there. I will say one nice thing about the girls that work there-I know a developmentally disabled man who likes Hooters and gets X-mas cards from the waitresses and they are very nice to him all the time. He has no money, so they are not doing it for tips, they are doing it to be nice.

I've never been inside a Cracker Barrell and never plan to go to one. They have some anti-gay policies toward employees, and I'm not going to support that even if I heard their food was really good.

I used to eat Domino's pizza in college, in the early 80s. I didn't know much about Monaghan then, and the one near our campus made pretty decent pizza at the time. I'm pretty sure I haven't eaten their pizza in 20 years, and defintely have not had any since Monaghan fired Ernie Harwell from the Tigers organization.

I've only been to White Castle once. I hate their nasty, greasy little burgers.
